SEIF CLI and console

Add this repository's bin directory to PATH, or run bin/seif. It uses the bundled Node and the same engine as Context Lab. An existing unrelated seif installation is not replaced. Select projects with --project <folder>.

compass, doctor, learn, find, agents-md and mcp are the agent-native commands (SEIF in the agent you already use). compass is the default entry: it composes task resolution, relevant negative space, unknowns, health, Context Tests and a session checkpoint; it does not replace immutable Build regression.

Output is readable by default; --json is stable machine output. sweep prints the profile's current values, the recommended configuration (cheapest one in which every test passes) and the knee trade-off point; see Context Lab. Test runs mark ✓ all passing, ✕ any failure and ? when results stay UNKNOWN. Exit 1 means failed tests/build; exit 2 is invalid input or an operation error. No arguments opens the REPL with persisted, redacted history and command/path/layer completion. The native Console accepts exactly the same arguments. Paths with spaces can be quoted. The default model proposal state is UNKNOWN until a proposal provider is configured; ask never invents a response or edits a project.

Promotion calls the existing Registry and obeys its roles, approval and regression gates. It does not turn a local Build into an asserted deployment. A local bindings/<env>.binding.yaml can reference build: builds/build-0001 and its digest for offline comparison; actual Registry deployments remain authoritative remotely. CI (context.mjs/ci.mjs) uses the same file compiler, resolver, tests and Build operations. Existing JSON projects and CI options remain compatible.

Funnel and cloud
